Our Kitchen is Tainted

Cody and I have heard of many inconveniences about apartment living. You know, like loud neighbors, zero parking, no storage, and animal breed restrictions. Well I have a new one to add to the list, disturbing odors. The first night in our apartment we began to smell something. My eyes started to burn and Cody began walking around the apartment with his shirt over his nose, kind of like he does when he picks up cat droppings around the house. "What is that smell?" I kept screaming. With the help of our detective skills we track the odor to the kitchen. Cody starts sniffing and moving every appliance he can in order to find out what is going on.

Sure enough behind our stove we find a huge gaping hole. After much sniffing, we decide the odor is cigarette smoke. We begin to think it must be coming from our neighbors, so we run outside to sniff their door. The smoke was definitely leaking from the inside their apartment. In order to be sure they are smokers, Cody and I decided we need to figure out what vehicle they drive. I mean what smoker would not keep a pack of cigarettes in their car? So, after a few days of monitoring we come to the conclusion that it is this ugly white utility van. Ugg!!! I hate those vans. Any way, once it got dark Cody and I went outside and scoped out their van. Sure enough on the dashboard there was a pack of cigarettes. Case closed our neighbors are disgusting!!!!
